Estate Teas

Perhaps the most distinctive of all teas, these single-estate loose leaf selections offer the unflavored, unblended products of specific estates.

The term ‘single-estate’ means that each tea is the product of a specific farm or estate and is not blended with teas from other estates. Underlying the individuality of these different estates is the broader regional variation in tastes, flavors and aromas. Darjeelings are light and aromatic, Assams are strong and malty and Nilgiris are well known for their delicate fragrance.

Although all these teas are produced from the same Camellia Sinensis bush, black teas are fully oxidized, oolong teas are partially oxidized and green teas are not oxidized.
